Boldt Castle \u2013 die Attraktion der Thousand Islands<\/h3>\n<p>Das von der Boldt-Familie Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts erbaute Boldt Castle ist die bekannteste Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit der Thousand Islands. Das romantische Schloss auf Heart Island liegt mitten im Sankt-Lorenz-Strom zwischen den USA und Kanada, wirkt aber als sei es geradewegs aus dem Rheintal hierher teleportiert worden. Es macht Spa\u00df, das Schloss, die vielen Nebengeb\u00e4ude, den italienischen Garten und den Triumphbogen zu erkunden. Teil des (notwendigen) Vergn\u00fcgens ist es auch, das winzige Zollh\u00e4uschen der Insel zu besuchen. Heart Island liegt n\u00e4mlich auf US-amerikanischem Territorium. Entsprechend sind bei der Einreise aus Kanada auch die \u00fcblichen Formalit\u00e4ten zu erledigen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tipp<\/strong>: Auf der Nachbarinseln Wellesley Island befindet sich das
