Das zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe z\u00e4hlende Bauwerk, auf dem einst Galileo Galilei seine ber\u00fchmten Fallversuche gemacht haben soll, ist einer der Hotspots in der Toskana. Camper sollten bei einem Besuch des vielfrequentierten Wahrzeichens allerdings keine Scheu davor haben, mit anderen Touristen auf Tuchf\u00fchlung zu gehen.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tipp<\/b>: In unmittelbarer N\u00e4he zum schiefen Turm von Pisa befinden sich der Dom zu Pisa und das Baptisterium. Die Monumentalbauten sind mindestens ebenso sehenswert wie der schiefe Turm. Die Luminara: m\u00e4rchenhafter Anblick am 16. Juni<\/h2>\n<p>Dass ein Besuch Pisas nicht nur wegen des schiefen Turms lohnt, wissen mittlerweile nicht mehr nur Insider. Die studentisch gepr\u00e4gte Stadt hat viel zu bieten. Gerade die lebendigen Feste erfreuen sich weit \u00fcber Pisas Stadtgrenzen hinaus gro\u00dfer Beliebtheit. Bestes Beispiel: die Luminara. Im Rahmen des zu Ehren des Stadtheiligen San Ranieri stattfindenden Festes werden entlang des Flusses Arno nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit alle k\u00fcnstlichen Lichtquellen gel\u00f6scht und stattdessen viele Tausend Kerzen an die Fenster gestellt.
